I work with what you bring as your priority in therapy. I enjoy working to kick start your own recovery. You are the expert in your life. My job is to assist you to make the changes you need. I work with integrity and offer a confidential, safe space to make changes.
Qualifications and Experience
I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2000. I also qualified as a CBT therapist in 2004. I trained as an EMDR therapist in 2011, qualifying as a consultant in 2016. I am registered with the following professional bodies:
I have worked in the NHS in mental health settings since 1996 within hospital, community and primary care services. I have worked extensively with adults and adolescents with a range of health issues including depression, worry, anxiety, anger, trauma, psychosis, addictions, phobias and pain.

CBT Supervision at University of Exeter with CBT Psychosis in Early Intervention PGDip
EMDR consultant supervising group and individual clinicians.
Supervising supervision of EMDR therapists.
Supervising clinicians through accreditation process with BABCP and EMDR Europe. Co-ordinating local EMDR CPD events in IAPT service.
Active member of Devon and Cornwall Branch of BABCP.
